Shenzhen launches Shuibei e-commerce livestream season

The Luohu district in Shenzhen recently launched a special session of the Shuibei e-commerce livestream season via its "Luohu Release" platform. Themed "China’s Jewelry Capital, Shenzhen's Shuibei," the event marks a significant step toward deepening the integration of the city's renowned gold and jewelry industry with the digital economy.
The opening ceremony, hosted by Cuizhu Sub-district, was held in collaboration with Zhou Liu Fu Jewelry Co., Ltd. and the 2024 champion livestream host. This marks the debut of Luohu’s latest initiative, E-Commerce Livestream Season 3.0, which aims to position Shuibei as a national benchmark for vertical livestreaming in the jewelry sector.
The 2023 livestream season generated an impressive 1.3 billion yuan in sales. In 2024, the campaign exceeded 4 billion yuan. With this year's upgraded program, Luohu has set even more ambitious goals: surpassing 5 billion yuan in total sales and reaching over 1 billion impressions across digital platforms.
Spanning nearly 40 days, this digital showcase promises a range of exciting highlights — from the global debut of the AI-powered "digital Shuibei person" to large-scale signing ceremonies with key enterprises across the jewelry ecosystem. Additionally, rising livestream hosts will make a public pledge of integrity, emphasizing trust and authenticity in online commerce.
The initiative also places strong emphasis on talent development and brand building. Over 30 gold and jewelry ecosystem enterprises are expected to establish a presence in Shuibei, while 100 professional livestream hosts will be brought in as part of a comprehensive talent training pipeline that connects vocational institutions, businesses, and platforms. These efforts aim to accelerate the transformation of traffic into tangible sales and bring the "Shuibei Gold and Jewelry" regional brand to new heights.
