Cuiyuan Middle School’s new campus set to open this fall

Cuiyuan Middle School’s brand-new campus is set to officially open its doors to incoming students in September 2025. As the district’s No.1 livelihood project in the education sector for 2023, the construction of the new Cuiyuan campus represents a major initiative to advance comprehensive educational reforms and promote high-quality education.
As of May 18, 2025, the main structure of the new campus has been completed. The primary teaching building has been fully topped out, and the project has now entered the interior finishing phase. It is on track to be ready for the new academic term this fall.
The new campus spans a total floor area of 53,000 square meters, situated on a 22,000-square-meter plot of land. The school will feature specialized academic and innovation hubs, including a mathematics and science center, a STEM innovation center, a marine and aerospace center, life science center, artificial intelligence center, digital media center, and arts and humanities center. Notably, a dual-function astronomical science center combining a planetarium and observatory will also be a highlight of the campus.
In alignment with the era of smart education, the campus will be fully equipped with 5G connectivity and will implement five major intelligent systems: smart teaching, smart reading, a smart cafeteria, smart attendance tracking, and smart dormitory management. These systems aim to create a truly modern, digital and efficient educational environment.
Designed with both tradition and modernity in mind, the campus architecture blends classical Chinese elements with contemporary design aesthetics. From elegant New Chinese-style leisure gardens to state-of-the-art teaching buildings, the environment fosters a harmonious connection between students and nature.
