Luohu launches three key initiatives to support young entrepreneurs

Shenzhen's Luohu District is rolling out three major initiatives to foster an optimal ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship while enhancing young talent's sense of belonging and well-being. These initiatives provide workspace support, housing assistance, and financial subsidies to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Free workspace for startups
Luohu offers individual entrepreneurs 10 square meters of rent-free office space for six months, while startup teams can access up to 300 square meters rent-free for three years. The first batch of 45,000 square meters of entrepreneurial space has already been made available, providing young innovators with high-quality office environments.
Housing support for young entrepreneurs
Job seekers coming to Luohu for interviews can enjoy 15 days of free short-term accommodation. Recent university graduates without Shenzhen household registration are also eligible for housing assistance. Recognized young entrepreneurial talents can receive rent-free housing for up to three years or an annual housing subsidy of 30,000 to 50,000 yuan for up to three years. However, the rent-free housing and housing subsidy cannot be combined.
Financial incentives for talent
Young entrepreneurs who obtain official recognition and establish residency in Luohu will receive subsidies of 100,000 yuan for PhD holders, 50,000 yuan for master's degree holders, and 30,000 yuan for bachelor's degree holders.
Beyond financial and housing support, Luohu provides a comprehensive range of services, including startup salons, mentorship programs, networking events, and preferential policies such as fast-track access to entrepreneurial space, nearby school enrollment for children, and cultural benefits.
Eligible applicants include young entrepreneurs recognized at the municipal level and those aligned with Luohu's key industries who demonstrate innovative thinking and entrepreneurial potential. Applications can be submitted via the "iShenzhen" platform for municipal-level recognition or the "Luohu Enterprise Service Platform" for district-level recognition.
