Healthcare takes priority as Luohu announces top 10 livelihood projects for 2025


On March 5, the sixth session of the Eighth People's Congress of Luohu District concluded. During the session, representatives submitted 174 proposals, including 40 related to finance, 48 to science, education, culture, and healthcare, 65 to urban construction and management, 20 to civil affairs and judiciary, and one to labor and human resources.
Through a vote at the plenary session, ten key livelihood projects were selected for priority supervision in 2025. These include enhancing healthcare services, promoting balanced and high-quality education, improving housing and livability, developing a multi-tiered elderly care system, creating high-quality cultural and tourism spaces, optimizing transportation, deepening Shenzhen-Hong Kong integration, improving the ecological environment, strengthening urban safety and emergency response, and fostering a child-friendly city.
