Luohu CPPCC Session focuses on industrial upgrading and modern industrial system development

On Monday, the Fifth Session of the Sixth Luohu District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) convened. During the session, Luohu CPPCC Chairman Liu Guangmin delivered the work report of the Standing Committee, reviewing the achievements of 2024 and outlining the priorities for 2025.
Over the past year, the Luohu CPPCC received a total of 247 proposals, of which 210 were accepted after review, with an approval rate of 85%. Among them, 82 proposals centered on fostering new productive forces, improving cross-border consumption for Hong Kong residents, and developing the low-altitude economy. Another 74 proposals focused on cultural education, healthcare, and social security, while 51 proposals addressed issues related to community governance, water pollution monitoring, and traffic safety improvements.
Many recommendations were translated into policies, including initiatives to enhance Luohu's role as a core area of an international consumption center and optimize medical services, contributing to the district’s high-quality development.
2025 marks the final year of China's 14th Five-Year Plan and the 45th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. The Luohu CPPCC will align its work with the district's "Three Strengths, Three Districts" development goals, focusing on industrial transformation and the establishment of a modern industrial system while enhancing the quality and effectiveness of its proposals.
Moving forward, the Luohu CPPCC will prioritize key issues such as high-end industry cultivation, efficient governance, and high-quality urban development. Through in-depth research and targeted recommendations, it aims to produce high-quality proposals that contribute to policymaking. Furthermore, efforts will be strengthened to ensure the effective implementation of these proposals, leveraging the expertise of CPPCC members to facilitate policy execution and drive sustainable development in Luohu.
