The 9th Rhododendron Moulmainense Festival and the 2nd Wutongshan Musical Concert will open on March 18, 2024. The festival features four major flower-viewing spots and three flower-viewing routes.

During the period from March 18 to March 31, various cultural activities will be held concurrently, including the Rhododendron Flower Art Exhibition, photography and short video contests, nature education campaigns and flower viewing sessions, and Hanfu performances.

On the morning of March 13, the launch ceremony for helicopter sightseeing commercial flights in the Great Wutong Ecological Integration Zone was held. Two urban low-altitude traffic (sightseeing) operation centers will be jointly opened by the Wutong Camp and Zhongnan Aviation, offering three sightseeing routes for regular commercial operations. Ticket prices will be tiered to meet the diverse consumption needs of citizens, promoting comprehensive development of low-altitude tourism economy.

The Phoenix Terrace Rhododendron Flower Art Exhibition, displayed from March 18 to 31, will integrate elements of oriental aesthetics with national style.

The annual Rhododendron Moulmainense Flower Festival Photography and short video competition will accept submissions from March 18 to April 18. The competition will feature a total of 76 photography and short video awards, as well as eight photography popularity awards, with the highest award of 3000 yuan.

In addition to a series of flower viewing activities, this year's flower festival will also feature 5 eVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) joint sightseeing tourism flights and 2 Wutongshan music concerts and camping culture weeks, allowing citizens to deeply experience the rich cultural and tourism experiences of Luohu while enjoying the beauty of the flowers.
