Luohu launches Chinese New Year Livestreaming event
The 2024 Luohu Chinese New Year Live-streamer Competition commenced on January 26, drawing in excess of 400,000 online participants during its inaugural livestream. Social media platforms witnessed a surge in engagement, with associated topics amassing over one million views.
Forty-three live-streamers are vying in the competition, broadcasting from three distinct venues: Jinzhan Jewelry Square, Aokangda Automobile Square, and the Art and Performing Center.
Livestream content spans a spectrum of themes, encompassing gold and jewelry, automobiles, and fine arts, stimulating consumption across these industries. Viewership engagement has translated into tangible sales, with an uptick in on-site purchases.
Wang Zhen, an official representative from Shuibei Jewelry, underscored the pivotal role of livestreaming in channeling consumers to Shuibei and elevating its prominence.
The competition is slated to extend until February 17th. Concurrently, Luohu will feature a flower show from February 3rd to February 9th, while Dongmen will host a performance showcase from February 13th to 17th.
