Luohu's Aiguo Road welcomes 2024 Spring Flower Market
On December 30, 2023, the auction for booth spaces at the 2024 Spring Flower Market on Aiguo Road was officially launched. Currently, a total of 311 booths have been auctioned across different sections, including 190 in the Fresh Flowers Zone, 40 in the Cultural and Creative Zone, 36 in the New Year Goods Zone, 42 in the Spring Couplets Zone, and 3 in the Catering Zone.
The cumulative transaction amount has reached 7.2246 million yuan, with 967 participants actively participating in the bidding.
Notably, a booth in the New Year Goods Zone fetched an impressive 141,200 yuan, marking a twofold increase compared to the auction results in 2023. Currently, there are still two vacant booths in the Catering Zone, which will be re-auctioned soon.
The Aiguo Road Spring Flower Market stands as the city's most festive destination. In 2024, the Flower Market will recreate the traditional flower market archway from 2015, contributing to the joyful atmosphere of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
The archway boasts an overall width of 31.8 meters, with a maximum height of 13.65 meters. The main arch stands approximately 8 meters high with a span of around 13.8 meters, while the two side arches have a net height of about 6.5 meters and a span of approximately 9 meters.
The archway predominantly features a red color scheme, incorporating elements of the Chinese zodiac, particularly the "Chinese Dragon," and is adorned with vibrant red lanterns.
This year, the flower market will feature interactive games such as digital blessings and AR check-ins. The flower market is committed to contributing to the revival of the Lunar New Year atmosphere, the integration of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and the recovery of consumer activities.
