Luohu launched first lucky draw of its consumer goods ‘trade-in’ program
On April 11, Luohu launched the first lucky draw event of its consumer goods “trade-in” consumer promotion program. Organized by the Luohu District Bureau of Commerce, the event aimed to stimulate consumer spending and boost economic vitality in the district.
The lucky draw was streamed live on the “Luohu Release” WeChat video channel, attracting significant viewership. To ensure transparency and fairness, the process was closely supervised by the Luohu Notary Office, with winners selected randomly through a computerized lottery system.
Prizes were divided into two main categories: automobile consumption and home appliance & digital products. In the automobile category, three first-prize winners each received 100,000 yuan before tax, while 30 second-prize winners received 10,000 yuan each, and 100 third-prize winners were awarded 5,000 yuan each. In the home appliances and digital products category, three first-prize winners took home 20,000 yuan each before tax, followed by 30 second-prize winners receiving 5,000 yuan each, and 100 third-prize winners who were awarded 1,000 yuan each.
Since its launch in March, the campaign has received an enthusiastic response from residents. It includes participation from automobile and electronics retailers across Luohu District, and consumers are eligible for the lucky draw whether they trade in old goods or purchase new ones.
This initiative will run through July 31, with two more live-streamed lucky draws scheduled for June and August, offering residents continued opportunities to win and enjoy the benefits of this vibrant initiative.
